If you ask me (and I know you didn't), this 2000 effort by NoMeansNo is one of their finest albums to date, even if the long, dark and brooding songs didn't appeal to the faster-louder crowd. That's right, I'm calling you out! "The Graveyard Shift" is easily one of the band's best songs. The album also features the sprawling "Bitches Brew", which finds Rob Wright waxing poetic to a rather respectful cover of Miles Davis' classic jazz song. It's never too late to rediscover this overlooked gem.
