I Thought It Was a Fig (1991)

I Thought It Was a Fig was the first Show Business Giants album to utilize the emerging "compact disc" technology, which up to 1991, had only been implemented by such industry leaders as Kenny Loggins, Death Angel and Laura Branigan. Much of the recording was done on the fly, featuring sessions in young Craig Bougie's van. Astute listeners can hear such traffic sounds as "honking", "shouting", and "RCMP admonishments". The song "Kwellada" was not covered by Nomeansno at any point. This is the first recorded appearance of young Tommy Holliston, who later did not perform in D.O.A.
